春天，在下过几场蒙蒙细雨后，操场四周的小草从地下探出头来，柳树吐出了新芽，给学校增添了一片平静的绿色。花儿也开了，一阵微风吹来，不由自主地跳起优美的舞蹈，招来色彩斑斓的蝴蝶还有蜜蜂。同学们下了课，在操场上奔跑、嬉戏、追蝴蝶，有时甚至忽略了上课的铃声。

我的学校是在城东路东侧，名叫城东路小学。
学校门口的大门大约有六七米高，他有两个圆形石柱支撑着，形状是一个拱形的，上面还有几个金灿灿的大字，这些大字就是“中牟县城东路小学。”一进大门，还有一个自动伸缩门。走过大门，抬头一看就能看到竖立在花坛中间的景观石。景观石的形状像小山似的，而且非常的大，正面刻着几个很大的血红的字“扬善，尚和”。反面也刻着几个血红的字，不过比正面的小。刻着的字是“和睦，和谐，和气……”。这几个字告诉我要做一个善良的人。
从景观石旁边绕过去，往前走走，抬头一看，就看到了电子屏。电子屏上面会出现一些校园纪律，名人名言，安全标语，这种东西。给我们讲一些有用的知识。
两边还有两座教学楼，教学楼是我们学习知识的殿堂，在教学楼里老师带领我们在知识的海洋里翱翔。南边的教学楼里教的都是1，2年级的，北边教学楼教的是3，4，5，6年级的。上课的时候校园里非常安静，从教室里时不时就会传出读书声，下课的时候校园里非常热闹，同学们从教室里飞奔出去跑得跑，跳得跳。
校园里的花坛里的花非常香。一闻满鼻子都是清香味。花坛里的花真是美丽极了，有的是红色的，有的是黄色的，真是五颜六色。校园里的银杏树。到了春天树枝上结出许多新生的绿芽，夏天新生的绿芽变成一片片金灿灿的树叶，哪些树叶像一把把小扇子，吹走了夏天的炎热，秋天的树叶像蝴蝶一样飞来飞去。
银杏树下面还有一个高大的书柜。书柜里摆放着许许多多的课外书，有些爱读书的同学一到下课就会坐在书柜旁边的椅子上看书。
操场上有400米跑道，还有许多的健身器材，然后还有乒乓球桌，篮球架……每到上午第二节课一下课，同学们先做眼保健操，然后再排着整齐的队伍去操场上做操做操的时候，操场上人山人海。
升旗台在操场的最北侧。每到星期一的时候，都会升国旗，升旗过后，都会有人演讲。他们是最光荣的。
