we all have a common home. she provides us with enough food, enough water and enough living room. we get everything from the nature to live better, but we donnot do anything to protect her. how the air is polluted; the earth is poisoned; water is unsafe to drink and rubbish is burying the civilization that man owns.

our environment is being polluted faster than nature and man's present efforts can prevent. time is bringing us more people, and more people will bring us more industry. so many trees will be cut down, and more large cities will be set up. lots of waste material, in return, is produced and harms the environment. so some experts declare that the balance of nature is being upset, so that the very survival of man is in danger.

how can we solve this problem? the answer is that we must control the speed of growing people, forbid everyone to cut down trees and pour waste water into rivers and so on.

if we achieve this, the environment will turn very clean, and our future will be full of happiness.

my father always stands in the center of my life， from past till now and possibly in the future.

but father made this all different!he works very hard on his own business, now we have our own 2 housese,surly,i have my own room.and he take our family so much happiness, richer and richer.

i learnt a lot from my daddy. i learnt to never take things to seriously and to always smile.

it is true that with enough money one can buy all the things one wants, and live a life of comfort and security. however, it is equally true that lack of money causes great distress. it is a common view that "money is the root of all evil." the pursuit of money drives many people to cheat and steal. in some places there is nothing that cannot be bought with money, resulting in corrupt societies where everybody is miserable.

so, money does not necessarily mean happiness. it all depends on how it is used. if we make honest and sensible use of money, it can be a stepping-stone to happiness l although money cannot buy happiness, it can make happiness possible if it is employed sensibly.

今天，我演讲的题目是《绿色。希望》。

在人类奔向21世纪的今天，地球已负担深重，苦不堪言，人类对环境污染和破坏也越来越大。改善生态环境的最根本方法是种树种草，增加绿色植被，因此植树造林是全世界的目标。明天是3月12日，是中国的植树节，让我们把口号落实行动，让绿色染绿校园。只要热爱祖国和人类的人就会懂得爱护绿色，只有从爱护眼前一草一木做起的人，才会热爱祖国的山河。我们青少年要爱每一片绿叶，爱每一棵小草，受每一朵鲜花。保护环境，绿化校园，让绿色生命激活我们热爱的生活，做祖国美好的建设者。

爱护花草树木就是爱惜生命。地球上有了绿色植物之后，才孕育出动物生命，从人类的祖先古猿的诞生，到进化为现代人猿，在森林中至少度过了100多万年的时间，可以说人类是在绿色的摇篮中逐渐成长起来的。但是，随着地球环境的恶化，诸如高血压、冠心病、糖尿病、神经衰弱，癌症等发病率逐年上升，所以爱护绿色环境，营造绿色环境，也就爱惜了健康，爱惜了生命，也就是回归了大自然，找回人类失去的宝贵天性。

爱护花草树木还是一种传统，爱树的核心就是种，哪一个国家，哪一个民族，不年年种树?在我国，哪一个地区，哪一个城市，哪一个乡村，没有每年的绿色计划?从国家领导人到平民百姓，谁的一生中不种活好几棵树?植树节将成为我国一个有特殊意义的传统节日。在东欧，在法国巴黎有这样一个习俗：婴儿出生要栽一棵理想树，上学时栽一棵求知树，18岁时栽一棵青春树，大学毕业栽一棵成才树，结婚时栽一棵同心树，一个人一生中平均栽活6棵树。这样，人人栽，年年栽，代代栽，栽出点点新绿，栽出片片生机，栽出不断扩大的生存空间，栽出无边无际的波涛汹涌的森林之海，那无所不在的森林，也将染绿一个国家，一个民族，染绿它的历史，染绿它的风俗习惯。

同学们，我校是绿色学校，校内的花草树木种类很多，它们给我们营造了一个优美、舒适的工作学习环境。校园里一草一木，一花一叶都凝聚了校园种花工人的汗水与心血，来之不易，我们应好好的珍惜。

祖国有气势磅礴的万里长城。远看长城，它像一条长龙，在崇山峻岭之间蜿蜒盘旋，从东头的山海关到西头的嘉峪关，有一万三千多里。城墙顶上铺着方砖，十分平整，是用巨大的条石筑成的。一块就有两三千斤重，那时候没有火车、汽车、没有起重机，就靠着无数的肩膀无数的手，一步一步地抬上陡峭的山岭。这样气魄雄伟的工程，在世界历史上是一个伟大的奇迹。当然，祖国不只有长城，还有古老的故宫，美丽的颐和园，著名的龙门石窟……我国文化遗产共有21处，自然遗产4处：武陵源风景名胜区、九寨沟风景、黄龙风景名胜区、云南“三江并流”自然景观。自然文化遗产共4处：武夷山风景名胜区、泰山风景名胜区、黄山风景名胜区、峨眉山——乐山大佛。

我国有着悠久的历史，蕴含着丰富的文化，几千年的历史中汉字的字体发生了很大的变化，从甲骨文到金文、小篆、隶书、楷书、草书、行书，直到我们现在的正楷字，真是“中华汉字，生动形象，传播文明，盖世无双”啊!

祖国也有着艰难的历程，涌现出无数可歌可泣的英雄。黄继光为了祖国用自己的胸膛堵住了敌人的枪口。英雄战士董存瑞不顾自己的生命用自己的身体顶住炸药包，为战斗赢得了胜利。古往今来，一曲曲悲歌，一个个惊天动地的故事，都讲述了一个简单而朴实的信念，我爱祖国!

一首董文华唱的《春天的故事》响彻大江南北，中华展开了新的画卷。耻辱和不幸已经成为历史，新的中国迎来了新的辉煌。

今天，我们的美好生活，是烈士们用血的代价换来的。我们要从身边的小事做起，保护好环境，节约水资源。好好学习，天天向上，为中华之崛起而读书，为民族振兴而读书，为祖国的繁荣昌盛而读书。长大后成为祖国的栋梁，报效祖国。
