our country is an old country with about five thousand years history so it has been attracting so many foreign tourists or students to come here to explore our history. unlike other countries, china has experienced many dynasties and its culture has spread home and abroad . in terms of character, it has developed so much that we can hardly grasp every one of them though we are chinese, let alone foreigners. so this has made so many foreigners much interested in it . chinese kun-fu is also impressive in the world.

我们国家是一个有着大约5000年历史的古老国家，所以吸引了很多外国游客或学生来这里探索我们的历史。与其他国家不同，中国经历了许多王朝，其文化在国内外传播。就性格而言，它发展得如此之快，即使我们是中国人，也很难抓住每一个，更不用说外国人了。因此，这使得许多外国人对它非常感兴趣。中国功夫在世界上也令人印象深刻。

春节是我们中国农历的新年，所以过年对我们中国人而言非常重要的！因此，春节前的准备也是必不可少的。

过年了！过年了！家家户户忙着贴春联，剃头发，做年夜饭……要做的事情太多了，而且“规矩”太多了！有些习俗还很怪，无奈之下，我就去问正在贴春联的妈妈。

我看见妈妈将“福”字倒着贴，我固然知道为什么要倒着贴，将‘福’字倒着贴是一种习俗，‘福’倒贴说明‘福’倒(到)了！但我仍然问道：“过年有什么习俗和规矩啊？”妈妈停下手中的活，耐心地给我谈起来。

原来，以前过年还有一种放鞭炮的'习俗，来源于“年兽”的故事。很久以前有一只“年兽”，长期居住深海底，到了除夕就跃出海面到处作恶。有一年一个老人用放炮，穿红衣，贴红春联的方法驱赶走“年兽”，这才得以平静，此后这个方法就流传开来。但是现在广州禁止燃放烟花爆竹，所以我们就不再进行这个活动了。

除夕这一天对我国来说是极为重要的。这天晚上，我们全家准备除旧迎新，吃团年饭。

吃年夜饭，就是春节家家户户最热闹愉快的时候。大年夜。丰盛的年菜摆满一桌，全家团聚，围坐桌旁，共吃团圆饭。人们既是享受满桌的佳肴，也就是享受那份快乐的气氛，桌上有鸡、鹅、烧肉等等，一般少不了两样东西，一是火锅，一是鱼。火锅热气腾腾，说明红红火火；“鱼”和“余”谐音，喻意“年年有余”。最后一道甜食，祝福往后的日子甜甜蜜蜜。

今天我的收获太大了，知道了很多过年习俗的知识，不过我觉得有点迷信，但这又仿佛是一种乐趣，只要快乐就好，何必迷信不迷信？更何况这是传统的习俗，宁可信其有不可信其无啊！

历史悠悠，文化绵绵。两千多个春秋而过，而我们中华儿女的骄傲——曲阜孔庙却依旧屹立着，向世界咆哮。

曲阜孔庙曾是我国吉代伟大思想家、家孔丘的祠庙，原址是他的故居鲁城阙里，在现在的山东曲阜，它是全国现存仅次于北京紫禁城宫殿的巨大吉建筑群，保在着至宋金以来的数十座古建筑，不便是我们中华儿女自豪骄傲的来源地啊!

孔庙呈长方形，占地有14万平方米之大，全庙有五殿、一祠、二阁、一坛、两堂、十七碑亭和五十三坊，共计有殿庑四百六十六间都建立于金、元、清反民国时期。可见工程之浩大。

曲阜孔庙不仅大，而且景色有很多。比如说棂星门、二门、大成殿、杏坛等，如果全说，三天三夜都讲不完。我就讲最著名的棂星门和大成殿吧。

棂星门是曲阜孔庙的正门。古代传说棂星是天上的文星，以此命名寓有国家人才辈出之意。棂星门有六楹四柱，铁梁石柱，威风凛凛，不可一世。仿佛一只仪态端庄的守护神麒麟在巡视人间

大成殿可比棂星门威严多了，高3米，长54米，深34米。挚檐有石柱二十八根，每根刻有七十二团龙，盘腾之上。既有麒麟之威风雏之美，又具蛇之灵动鹤之飘逸。

不仅如此，孔庙还是中国大型碑林之-。其中，保存了汉代碑文

1000多块，不仅有汉字，还有蒙古文和八思巴文。

曲阜孔庙还有一个作用，就是孔丘曾在此进行思想传播、文化的学堂!

曲阜孔庙的'两千多个春秋见证了中国封建社会发展的脚步，是中国发展的一页辉煌，也是我们中华儿女的自豪与骄傲!

关于长城还有一段传说。相传，从前有一对金童玉女下凡，男的叫万喜良，女的叫孟姜女。在他们成亲当晚，官兵把万喜良抓去修建长城了。孟姜女在家等了很久也没等到万喜良，于是，她万里寻夫，来到长城下。不料丈夫在修建长城的时候累死了。孟姜女悲伤之下，不停地哭泣，哭倒了长城，自己也变成了一块望夫石。

长城在崇山峻岭之间蜿蜒盘旋。从东头的山海关到西头的嘉峪关，有一万三千多里。长城高大坚固，是用巨大的条石和城砖筑成的。城墙顶上铺着方砖，十分平整，像很宽的马路，五六匹马都可以并行。单看这数不清的条石，一块就有两三千斤重，那时候没有火车、汽车，没有起重机，就靠这无数的肩膀无数的手，一步一步地抬上这陡峭的山岭。城墙顶上，每隔三百多米就有一座方形的城台，是屯兵的堡垒。打仗的时候，城台之间可以互相呼应。能搭起这么长的建筑，这样气魄雄伟的工程，它是中国古代人民血汗的结晶，也是中国古代文化的象征和中华民族的骄傲。长城被称为与埃及金字塔和罗马斗兽场一样的世界建筑史上的一个伟大的奇迹。

在千百年前我们的祖先就能建造出如此庄严美丽而坚固耐久的建筑，充分显示出当时的匠人对数学、力学、材料学、结构学的深入研究，古代人民的智慧令我们惊奇，更令我们自豪。
