before reading this novel, someone tells me it is very interesting, so i started to read this book with expectation and curiosity. and after iwas through with it, i was full of respect to the author.
the novel described a girl, called dorothy, was blew into an unfamiliar land which was far away from her hometown. then she tried to find the way home and finally she made it. during her journey, she experienced a lot.
to be honest, the author is really full of intelligence. his thought is so special that the plots are absolutely beyond my imagination. but it didn't surprise me when dorothy killed a wicked witch by accident, because every novel could start a story with such unusual coincidence. however, the next happened were really out of my expectation. first of all, dorothy's comrades were deadfully strange. for example, the scarecrow could speak ,walk and think, it is surprising, after all, his head was stuffed with straw, and just with eyes , nose as well as mouth painted on it to represent a face. it was even more surprising when changed new straws, he was still himself. he went to find the great oz because he wanted the great oz to give him some brain so that he wouldn't be laughed at by others and could do anying like a real man.the second was tin woodman, and his experiences were miserable. he fell in love with a beautiful girl and worked hard for their marriage, but the wicked with wanted to take them apart, so she cut off his legs ,arms head and heart one by one through using her magic. however, he was rescued by tinsmith, who made everything he lost out of tin but heart. so he was urgent to get a new heart. the third was a lion, and in our thought ,lions were expected to be brave and full of right, but this lion was as coward as a mouse, so he joined dorothy to get some courage.who made everything he lost out of tin but heart. so he was urgent to get a new heart. the third was a lion, and in our thought ,lions were expected to be brave and full of right, but this lion was as coward as a mouse, so he joined dorothy to get some courage.who made everything he lost out of tin but heart. so he was urgent to get a new heart. the third was a lion, and in our thought ,lions were expected to be brave and full of right, but this lion was as coward as a mouse, so he joined dorothy to get some courage.
the most wonderful thing beyond my thought was the great oz. it was said he was so great that was capable of doing everything.but actually, he was a humbug.this really disappointed them, because their wishes might not be satisfied. however, the humbug managed it because he knew they have already got what they wanted during the journey. here were some evidences. when every time they met trouble, it was scarecrow that came up with good ideas and helped them out; when every time they met monstrous beasts , it was the lion that stepped ahead and protected them. besides, the tin woodman was the one who was always kind to small animals and was sure to cry when he saw others' misery. the only they didn't obtain was confidence. so the humbug gave them confidence by using tricks.
there are some sentences i want to share with you:"no matter how dreary and gray our homes are, we people of flesh and blood would rather live there than in any other country,be it ever so beautiful. there is no place like home ." "experience is the only thing that brings knowledge and the longer you are on earth the more experience you are sure to get." "there is no living thing that is not afraid when it faces danger. the true courage is in facing danger when you are afraid."
this book really worth reading.
蒙文版读后感篇3
---our indignation, our power。
a tale of two cities is one of dickens's most important representative works。 the novel profoundly exposed the society contradiction before the french revolution, and it deeply attacks the aristocratic social class is dissolute and cruel, and sincerely sympathizes with the depressed classes。 the novel also described many magnificent scenes like the revolt people holding on attacking bastille and so on, which displayed people's great strength, belief and perseverance。
the novel has described many different people。 doctor manette is honest and kind but suffers the persecution actually。 he has to be in the prison because he had got some proof about the dissolute and cruel life of the aristocratic social class。 lucie is beautiful and gentle ,charles is of great grace and has a warm hart。 lorry is upright and honest ,sydney is semblance of indifferent, innermost feelings of warm, unconventional but also selfless and lofty, miss pross is frank and loyal, evremonde brothers are cruel and sinister。。。。。。the plex hatred is hard to solve, the cruel revenge has made more hatreds from depressed classes。
dickens is an outstanding writer。 so it is necessary to tell about the language skill in his work。 each kind of rhetoric technique, like the analogy, the exaggeration, the contrast, the humorous, and the taunt are handled, excellent, skillfully, and the artistry of the work is also delivered the peak。 a tale of two cities has its difference with the general historical novel, its character and the main plot are all fictionalizes。 with the broad real background of the french revolution, the author take the fictional character doctor manette's experience as the main clue, mix up the unfair charge, love and revenge three independent things but also incident cross-correlation stories together, the plot is criss-crossed, and the line of the novel is plex。 the author use descriptions, foreshadowing, and so many other writing skills, causes the structure plete and strictness, the plot winding to be interesting, exciting and anxious。 it’s ri ch of theatrical nature, it displayed the u
nmon artistic skill。 although it doesn’t has a tragedy story, the style a tale of two cities is solemnity and melancholy, fills indignation, but needs the humor of the works。
this novel told me that the society may be really unfair, and maybe i will have met a lot of unjust things in my life。 i’d better let my indignation be my power。 and i should be more perseverant and strong-willed, be optimistic enough, and take my courage in both hands to be the best one。

with so many famous masterpieces on the booklist, it is really a pretty hard job to chooseone to read after much hesitation and deeply thought, i finally decided to borrowgreat expectations from the small
great expectations is about love, family, and rejection as pip and miss havisham have bothbeen rejected in certain pip is a boy around 13 years old, easy to fright, and goesthrough his life suffering lots of he is in love with a girl named estella and wantsher to find his love, but for him being shy and not showing himself to her, it makes it veryhard for
great expectations was the penultimate novel pleted by the most popular novelist ofvictorian england, charles born in kent, england, in 1812 to a family of modestmeans but great pretensions, dickens’s early life was marked by both humiliation dickens never forgot the period of financial crisis during his childhood, whenfollowing his father’s bankruptcy, he was taken out of school and forced to work in ashoepolish
pip meets an escaped convict, magwitch, and gives him food, in an encounter that is tohaunt both their
when pip receives riches from a mysterious benefactor he snobbishly abandons his friendsfor london society and his“great expectations”。
i set up my mind to select it for the reason that i have read a brief introduction of thismasterpiece in my high school english textbook in addition, a tale of two citieswhich is also written by charles dickens, the outstanding and special english writer, left mea wonderful and deep impression, when i finished reading the marvelous
of course, great expectations didn’t let me down, what’s more, the whole structureof the novel is well and elaborately the plot is extremely attractive and full ofunexpected quite a few characters have a distinguishable moreover, thosewords and sentences are so beautiful and meaningful that i even took them down carefully inmy by reading them no less than three times, i have learned not only some newphrases and sentences, but also a philosophy of
among the characters, which impressed me most are not pip and estella who should be regardedas the leading roles, but joe and i feel awfully sorry that i was not brave enoughto read the original edition that is as thick as a otherwise, i may appreciate joe andmagwitch yes, they are not the main characters in the however, what they saidand what they did deeply touched it’s interesting, isn’t it? they are quite theopposite one is a totally good man without the least bit of wickedness while the otheris a prisoner who is believed to have mitted every
i believe that everyone who reads the book is to like when he talked about his heavydrinking father who hit him a lot, he said he had a lot of faced with his rude wife, hewould rather seem a bit weak or foolish than stand up to her and fight for knowingpeacockish pip was ashamed of his uneducated manners, he left sadly and the worldrushes on over the strings of the lingering heart making the music of but when hewas informed of pip’s illness, he immediately came to take good care of he is alwayscontributing everything and requiring such a man is joe, kind, tolerant "nothing is so mild and gentle as courage, nothing so cruel and pitiless ascowardice," says a wise
however, why do i appreciate magwitch, the bad guy? you may indeed, magwitch did alot of evil things when he was but how can you be unmoved when you get to know thatthe old man kept himself going just by thinking of the boy who once did him a small favor?he lost his only daughter and pip had no parents, so he considered himself as the boy’ssecond father, making up his mind to help his dear boy became a he did every kindof job and led a hard life in at last he made a big fortune and promised himselfthat all the money would go to he could have led a better life in australia ,but ihechose to go back to london .with the simple intention of seeing pip, he went back at the riskof being hanged! “whatever the fault he had from the start, remember, reader, he had a ” joe used these words to describe his but i think these words can betterdescribe he lived with the fear of death all his who shuts love out, in turnshall be shut out
from however, thankfully, because pip finally realized his goodheart, his ending was
dickens has pip as the writer and first person narrator of this account of his life'sexperiences, and the entire story is understood to have been written as a retrospective, rather than as a present tense narrative or a diary or still, though pip "knows" howall the events in the story will turn out, he uses only very subtle foreshadowing so that welearn of events only when the pip in the story pip does, however, use the perspectiveof the bitter lessons he's learned to ment acidly on various actions and attitudes in hisearlier
i know how to fully understand this novel, twice is far from pip, estella, misshavisham, biddy even mr wemmick, every single character has a story that is well worth i love this novel so much that i am determined to read the original edition believe but before that day es, i will see the movie great expectations

蒙文版读后感篇7
"the little prince," the fairy tale, is most impressed by "it is a childrens book for adults" and "contains a whole set of philosophical thoughts in his poetic touch." this fairy tale for adults contains symbolic benefits that seem to be both clear and subtle, and therefore exceptionally beautiful. i dont understand why this reading rate is second only to that of the bible. so i have this book in my hand.
at the beginning of the book, the unimaginative grown-ups were satirized, "these adults never take the initiative to learn anything; and for our kids, its always been a lot of explaining to them... "so i wont talk to him about pythons, primeval forests, or stars. i only talk about things they can understand, such as bridge, golf, politics, ties and so on. in this way, the person will be very happy, and a person who has met a reasonable understanding. and the children said to the adults, "i see a beautiful house, which is made of rose brick, with a geranium in the window and white doves on the roof." they had to be unable to imagine the house. you have to say, "i saw a house worth twenty thousand dollars." they would have to say, "that house is so beautiful." saint-exupery may be felt lonely in adults, and then through the eyes of the little prince to find adults much ado about nothing, in order to possess wealth, power for money such as learning to forget the self, the true value of life really lost the most precious childlike innocence and innocence, lost valuable imagination and aesthetic feeling.
